Media Trust's Volunteer Filmmaking Scheme
News
Article Published : 28/07/10
Volunteer Filmmaking is a project run by Media Trust that encourages small charities to apply to have a professional film produced about their organisation, work and impact. Applications are open for charities or CIC's registered in England with an annual turnover of less than £2 million.
Through the scheme, professional filmmakers are matched with the successful charities to create short promotional films at a fraction of the normal cost. The short films, usually up to five minutes long, are also guaranteed a broadcast slot on the Media Trust's national television channel, Community Channel.
Volunteer Filmmaking has produced more than 125 films for small charities in England working in a wide range of areas including the environment, youth, health, disability, community, sport and the arts. Have a look at some of the films made last year.
Download further information about the scheme.
Closing date is Monday 2 August.
